⚑Quick Assigning Money Across Categories

To make funding categories, or reducing over-funding across categories, the Quick Assign feature is extremely useful

The Quick Assign feature is always available from the Activity page and Budget page, which can be accessed by clicking the green bubble that says "Ready to Assign".

Whenever you access the Quick Assign page, you'll see your Ready to Assign budget, as well as the option to choose a quick action. The two main quick actions you'll be able to take are funding categories and reducing over funding.

Funding a category will allocate budget from your Ready to Assign amount to categories that have not been fully funded yet. By design, quick assign will allocate funds in the order your Budget has been configured. This approach ensures that if you cannot fully fund all your categories, quick assign will first fund your bills, then needs, then savings, then wants (exactly like you would do if you were budgeting with real envelopes)

Reducing overfunding will effectively take any overage from your target for a category, and make it available again for your Ready to Assign balance. For example, if my Mortgage target is $2,700 and I funded it by $3,000, the Reduce Overfunding action would reduce my Mortgage funding to $2,700 freeing up that additional $300 to be funded elsewhere.
